Job Summary:

Kōst is looking for Server Assistants to join the team. They will provide necessary activities to assist with a flawless flow of services as needed to support an exceptional customer experience. Server Assistants will focus on table maintenance and accurate delivery of food and beverage to guests. They will also aid in expediting dishes from the kitchen line to the dining room floor, explicit and reset tables and actively seek out opportunities to make the guest experience a memorable one.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Assist with providing service to customers, including taking accurate orders and delivering food and beverage to guests.
- Assist with maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of the kitchen.
- Expedite dishes from kitchen line to the dining room floor.
- Set up, clean up and reset tables.
- Stock all dishes and flatware.




- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glass, etc. throughout shift.
- Complete closing duties, including restocking items, locking coolers, turning off lights, etc..
- Perform other job duties as requested by management.

Skills/Requirements

- Experience providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience as a support staff is preferred.
- Able to perform high-quality work while unsupervised.
- Able to work in a large team environment.
- Experience in a high-volume, high-end restaurant or cocktail bar environment.
- Flexible schedule.
- Strong communication skills.
- Possession of a SMART Serve is required.
- Must successfully complete the restaurant’s training course.
- Food Handler Certification is considered an asset.
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
- Must be able to lift, balance and carry trays of food weighing up to 25 pounds.

Compensation

- Salary will be dependent on overall experience.
- This position is eligible to participate in the tip pool. Depending on the volume of the venue, tips can be an additional $5.00 - $8.00 per hour.
