About Gestion Zagora

Gestion Zagora is a young and dynamic company specializing in property management. For over 5 years, we have owned and managed multiple rental buildings in Montreal, on the South Shore, in Gatineau, and in Quebec City. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Senior Accountant to oversee our accounting operations and support the financial management of our real estate portfolio.

Responsibilities:

- Accounting operations management: Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll accounting, and bookkeeping to ensure accurate and rigorous financial management.

- Financial reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to provide management with valuable financial insights.

- Compliance and audits: Ensure compliance with accounting and tax standards, coordinate with external auditors, and prepare all required documentation for annual audits.

- Financial analysis:



Perform analyses to support decision-making and improve the financial performance of the properties.

- Team supervision: Guide and train accounting staff as needed.

Profile sought:

- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a similar role, ideally in real estate or asset management.

- Education: Degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (CPA designation is an asset).

- Skills:

- Expertise in accounting management with knowledge of IFRS standards and Canadian tax regulations.

- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software.

- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication skills to present financial information clearly.

- Languages: Bilingual (French and English) required.
