CSE is seeking a skilled Welder/Fitter to join our heavy fabrication and machining client. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of production and custom fabrication projects while collaborating with a highly experienced and dedicated team. Job Type – Temp to Perm

Shift – Steady Days

Wage - $20.00 – $32.00/hr

Responsibilities:

- Select appropriate welding equipment and plan welding sequences to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Prepare and shape materials through grinding, beveling, cleaning, and cutting processes to meet fabrication requirements.
- Perform welding according to customer specifications, ensuring proper weld size and quality standards.
- Inspect welds, identify defects, carry out repairs, and conduct root cause analysis on non-conformances.
- Interpret drawings, weld symbols, and GD&T; standards while accurately fitting, aligning, and securing components for fabrication.

Requirements:





- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a welding/fitting apprenticeship and Ontario trade certification is an asset.
- Solid ability to read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, weld defects, GD&T;, and drawings in both first- and third-angle projection.
- Solid mathematical skills applicable to welding and fitting operations.
- Effective team player with strong organizational skills and legal authorization to work in Canada.
