JOB OVERVIEW
The Technical Records Analyst reports to the Tech Ops Supervisor and is responsible for record keeping, auditing, and researching discrepancies for assigned Aircraft.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintaining Technical Records

Daily updating and/or auditing all component removal/installations and swaps on all aircraft & engines

Daily updating and/or auditing aircraft checks, out of phase inspections, Service Bulletins (SB) and Airworthiness Directives (AD)

Daily updating Engine Health Monitoring (EHM) for all engines, including ECM Maintenance codes

Manual updates for all logs including engine logs, prop logs, flight times and maintenance logs

Ensure new component configurations are correctly created in the relevant Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software

Ensure new component & engine as-built structures are correctly created in the relevant ERP software

Audit all Rescheduled Maintenance Items (RMI) for proper next due and visibility of work request

Recognize and initiate process improvement and computer enhancements to achieve regulatory compliance and maintain records integrity

Ensure all physical and digital aircraft records are filed and maintained in a consistent and organized system.

Auditing

Audit completed tasks for AD compliance, re-inspection intervals or termination

Audit completed tasks for Supplemental Structural Inspection Document (SSID) and SB, etc. compliance, re-inspection intervals or termination





Verify Time Since Overhaul (TSO) on hard time components

Audit KF Work Cards for unscheduled SB/AD compliance

Verify that all changes for inspection, Engineer Orders (EO), AD’s, SB’s are correctly updated and/or initiated

Audit maintenance packages for unscheduled repairs and request set up of inspections as required

Audit all technical records for compliance with Company and ISO standards

Research

Research inconsistencies between log pages & tags and initiate corrections

Research and assist in the set up of the scheduled tasks in the relevant ERP system related to all Airworthiness Limitations requirements for any installed STC’s

Assist in updating AD and SSID intervals based on maintenance accomplished or faults found

Research the inspection requirements for any recent components being entered into our system and implement set-up as required

Reporting

Supply current, accurate information to all KF Aerospace departments when required

Update scheduled inspections

Provide current TSO & historical information for component disposition to Stores, Overhaul facilities, out bases, etc. as required

Supply engine and prop log history to Overhaul Facilities

New Aircraft Setup

Audit previous AD/SB compliance and assist in the research for the set up of new inspections and/or conformance as required

Research and assist with initiating any continuing airworthiness for previously installed STC’s/Mods

Research and continue inspections for previously installed Major Repairs





Review and organize the previous operator’s reports and historical records into the department’s physical and digital filing system

Assist with setting up the new aircraft/engines into the applicable ERP system

Assist with the research of Engine records and the creation of applicable engine component reports and maintenance status.

Other

Liaise with customer as required

Maintain aircraft records historical information in Archives

Any other duties as assigned by Supervisor

REQUIREMENTS

5 years of relevant experience in a similar role (demonstrating full competency in a Technical Records Analyst position)

Grade 12 diploma

Familiar with CARS requirements

Knowledge of ATR 72 and Boeing 737 aircraft a strong asset

Demonstrated ability to identify non-compliance to company & regulatory standards and work with other departments to rectify the issues

Strong knowledge of KF Aerospace policies, processes, and manuals an asset

Strong time management & organizational skills with the ability to prioritize

Effective problem solving and follow-up capabilities

Mathematical aptitude

Detail oriented

Willingness to learn; inquisitive

Proficient computer skills, including in Word and Excel

SALARY
The current salary range (valid until July 1, 2026) for this role is $62,000 – 77,700 annually. In July, a cost-of-living adjustment will increase this range. Note: The salary range maximum signifies full job knowledge.
