What you’ll need Journeyperson welder certification
High school diploma or equivalent, or technical training
MIG welding experience
Experience with fitting and fabrication
Ability to interpret blueprints, sketches, and drawings
Experience maintaining welding specifications
Ability to set up and operate welding equipment
Experience with metal cutting and trimming
Experience inspecting weld quality
Ability to perform hydro, air, and dye penetrant testing
Ability to assist lower and equal-level employees
Strong commitment to workplace safety
