iGaming Ontario is seeking a dedicated Privacy Officer to support privacy compliance alongside the Senior Privacy Officer. Key responsibilities include reviewing project policies, conducting privacy impact assessments, and maintaining a privacy risk reporting system. Ideal candidates will demonstrate a solid understanding of privacy legislation, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities to interact effectively with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in projects to prioritize privacy considerations
• Review policies and provide insights to subject matter experts
• Draft and revise Privacy Impact Assessments
• Conduct research and develop essential documents
• Manage privacy inquiries and reporting systems
Requirements:
• University degree in Public Administration or Information Science
• Experience with federal and provincial privacy legislation
• CIPP/C or CIPT certification is an asset
• Robust organizational skills and attention to detail
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
