Elevate equipment safety and reliability as a Maintenance Mechanic, ensuring the smooth operation of manufacturing facilities and fleet assets. This hands-on position prioritizes preventative maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
As a pivotal team member, you will handle scheduled maintenance, perform repairs, and conduct inspections to enhance equipment efficiency. Your role focuses on maintaining company vehicles and tools while fostering a safety-first culture. Collaborate across departments to ensure all maintenance practices meet proactive safety standards and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform scheduled maintenance on manufacturing machinery
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues
• Coordinate repairs to minimize operational disruption
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation
• Support safety compliance, including Lockout/Tagout procedures
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3-5 years of maintenance experience preferred
• Journeyperson certification in a related trade preferred
• Knowledge of safety legislation and practices
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
