Job Summary

Lion One Metals is recruiting a Mill Manager for the Tuvatu Alkaline Gold Project in Fiji. This is a site-based leadership role responsible for mill performance, metallurgical outcomes, and coordination with mine operations and maintenance. The Mill Manager will drive safe operations, continuous improvement, and capability development of national staff.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage mill and mine processing teams, including supervisors/foremen and technical roles (metallurgy, process control, filter plant).

- Provide daily operational support and lead investigations into production, recovery, and cost improvement opportunities.

- Oversee process optimization activities: monitoring recoveries, troubleshooting performance issues, plant surveys/test work, and analyzer calibration/accuracy.

- Coordinate with Mine Engineering/Geology for ore characterization and grade/recovery forecasting; collaborate downstream on concentrate quality and shipment schedule as needed.

- Plan and execute technical projects (scope, resources, schedule, budget),



including managing contractors/consultants and contract administration.

- Develop Fijian national staff through coaching, training, succession planning, and knowledge transfer from expat personnel.

- Ensure compliance with site health and safety requirements and applicable regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering (or related discipline).

- 5-10 years' experience in plant/mill management or similar senior processing leadership.

- Strong mineral processing knowledge (grinding/beneficiation), troubleshooting, and performance improvement experience.

- Strong communication skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams; fluent in English.

- Advanced Excel + robust technical report writing.

- Advanced degree (bonus).
