We are looking for an experienced Information Management Analyst III to support enterprise data protection, information governance, and compliance initiatives for a leading organization in the agriculture sector. This Long-term Contract position is based in Calgary, Alberta, and focuses on strengthening the management of information across its lifecycle using Microsoft 365, Microsoft Purview, and established governance practices. The successful candidate will work with business and technical partners to deliver practical, secure, and compliant solutions that align with operational needs, regulatory obligations, and risk management priorities.

Responsibilities:

- Lead the planning, configuration, and rollout of data protection and information governance capabilities across Microsoft 365 and related enterprise platforms.
- Assess information risks and business requirements, then recommend solutions that improve compliance, security, and usability for end users.
- Partner with stakeholders across Cyber Security, Legal, Privacy, IT, and operational teams to support effective protection of corporate information assets.
- Administer and optimize Microsoft Purview features to support retention, classification, information protection, and compliance objectives.
- Develop reporting, documentation, and governance procedures that support ongoing monitoring, audit readiness, and continuous improvement.
- Provide guidance and training to users and stakeholders on information management practices, compliance expectations, and platform capabilities.
- Support the design and implementation of policies, controls, and standards that govern the full information lifecycle from creation through disposal.
- Contribute as an individual contributor, collaborative team member, or project lead in a fast-paced environment with evolving business priorities.




- At least 4 years of hands-on experience configuring and administering Microsoft Purview within the Microsoft 365 environment.
- At least 6 years of experience in areas such as information governance, records and information management, data protection, privacy, compliance, or information security governance.
- Strong knowledge of information lifecycle management, retention obligations, data classification, privacy principles, and regulatory compliance frameworks.
- Solid working knowledge of SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Exchange Online, OneDrive, and Microsoft 365 governance practices.
- Proven ability to interpret business needs and translate them into practical information management and compliance solutions.
- Strong communication, planning, and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Experience creating reports, procedures, and training materials to support governance, auditing, and user adoption.
