Benchmark Fabricators is looking for a hands-on CNC Press Brake Operator / Sheet Metal Fabricator to produce high-quality components used in architectural façade and cladding systems. This role focuses on precision forming, setup, and safe operation within a up-to-date CNC-driven shop environment.

Responsibilities

- Set up and operate CNC press brakes (and related forming/cutting equipment as needed).

- Read drawings, verify dimensions, and perform in-process checks to meet tolerances.

- Handle material safely, maintain clean work areas, and follow shop safety procedures.

- Work with the team to meet production schedules and quality targets.

- Assist with basic maintenance and tooling changes.

Qualifications

- 2+ years operating press brakes / sheet metal fabrication (or strong apprentice-level experience).

- Ability to read fabrication drawings and use measuring tools accurately.

- Forklift/overhead crane experience is an asset (or willingness to obtain).

- Strong reliability, attention to detail, and safety mindset.
