MEMBER SERVICES SPECIALIST (DC AND DB PENSION BENEFITS)

We're looking for a Member Services Specialist to join our Member Experience team.

In this role, you'll help members through important moments in their pension journey by providing accurate information, completing pension transactions, and delivering exceptional service.

What you will do

Administer pension transactions including transfers, withdrawals, death benefit payments, pension starts, and banking updates

Maintain accurate member records and ensure compliance with CSS rules, policies, and applicable legislation

Respond to member inquiries by phone, email, and other channels with clear and accurate information

Support members in accessing and using CSS digital tools, including the myCSSPEN member portal

Refer members to Retirement and Pension Advisors or other internal specialists when appropriate

Support year-end activities, including T4A processing and reporting

Maintain records and documentation in accordance with established standards

Contribute to compliance, reporting, and process improvement activities

Work collaboratively within a shared service model, supporting colleagues across the Member Experience team

Provide support for employer-related activities as required

Post-secondary diploma or degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field

What will set you apart

Experience in pension, benefits, or financial services administration

Experience in customer or member service environments

Ability to explain technical information in a straightforward and understandable manner

Pension Plan Administration Certificate (PPAC), or willingness to pursue the designation

A combination of equivalent education, training, and experience may be considered.

This role is well suited to someone looking to build or further develop a career in pensions, benefits administration, financial services, or member service. While the position offers opportunities for growth and development, its primary focus is delivering exceptional member service and administering pension processes accurately and efficiently.

Location
This position is based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

In limited circumstances, a remote or hybrid arrangement may be considered for Saskatchewan residents.
