This role, positioned under the Head of Safety, focuses on hazard analyses, requirements derivation, and cross-functional collaboration. You'll engage with systems, software, and robotics teams to ensure all safety requirements are integrated and verified, facilitating safe deployments in ground handling operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform system safety analysis using HARA, FMEA, and FTA
• Derive and trace functional safety requirements for autonomy
• Collaborate with teams to integrate safety into all levels
• Assist in the creation of safety case artifacts for deployments
• Conduct software hazard analyses per ISO 26262-6 and SOTIF
Requirements:
• 5+ years in safety engineering for autonomous vehicles
• Experience in C++, Python, or ROS/ROS2
• Solid knowledge of safety lifecycles and ASIL
• Background in mobile robotics or autonomous systems
• Bachelor's or Master's in relevant engineering field
