~ Your Day-to-Day as a Heavy Duty Mechanic:
Technical Responsibilities
Perform routine daily maintenance on mobile equipment to ensure safety, quality, productivity, and compliance with environmental policies.
Collaborate with other trades in a team environment to enhance safety, efficiency, quality, and production.
Shutdown and Strategic Capital Projects
Provide assistance and expertise for projects, including planning as needed.
Work together with Drax staff to ensure safety, efficiency, quality,



and timely project execution.
Mentorship and Leadership for Maintenance Staff
~ Red Seal Certified Trades Professional Designation
Completed a journeyman apprenticeship in the trade
Knowledgeable in various maintenance practices
Skilled in building rapport and fostering working relationships with key stakeholders, using a team-oriented and supportive approach to achieve goals
Willing and able to work a flexible schedule as needed, including on-call support for the Plant Management Team.
