Senior Business Operations Analyst
Location: Flexible across MEMS offices (Sherwood Park, Saskatoon, or Guelph)

We are growing and looking for a Senior Business Operations Analyst who is equally comfortable working with data, people, and processes—and who wants to help shape how we operate and improve.
The Opportunity This is a high-impact role within our Business Operations team. You will work closely with leaders across the organization to bring clarity to data, improve how we work, and support smart, informed decision-making.

What You’ll Be Doing Drive Operational Excellence Analyze business processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities
Document current and future-state processes and support the implementation of improvements
Deliver Meaningful Insights Collect, analyze, and interpret operational and financial data to inform decision-making

Support Key Initiatives Contribute to projects through structured analysis, requirements gathering, and coordination




Monitor progress and help ensure initiatives stay on track
Strengthen Business Performance Support cost, budget, and performance analysis, including KPI development and tracking
Contribute to business cases and planning activities with clear, data-driven insights
Collaborate and Influence Work across teams to gather information, validate insights, and build alignment
Communicate findings clearly and build strong, trusted relationships
Continuously Improve Leverage tools and systems to enhance analysis and reporting
Identify opportunities to improve data quality, reporting efficiency, and system use
What You Bring A degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
An advanced degree (MBA) is considered a strong asset, particularly for candidates interested in leadership progression within MEMS.
5+ years of experience in business analysis, operations, or data-focused roles
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into actionable insight
Advanced skills in Excel or similar data tools
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Experience in consulting or professional services is an asset
Experience with Deltek VantagePoint is an asset

Compensation Range(s):
ON - $90,000 - $115,000
