Join CHES Special Risk as a Senior Underwriter in Toronto. In this full-time role, you'll focus on underwriting in Property & Casualty and Medical Malpractice sectors.

This position requires expertise in underwriting, development of business with brokers, and achieving sales goals. You’ll manage professional lines such as E&O; and D&O;, while also maintaining the existing renewal book. With at least 4-5 years of commercial underwriting experience, you will report to senior management to support profitable risk selection.

Key Responsibilities:
• Underwrite new business presented by brokers
• Maintain and negotiate renewals for clients
• Achieve assigned monthly sales targets
• Monitor key broker results semi-annually
• Ensure compliance with customer service standards

Requirements:
• 4-5 years of commercial property and casualty underwriting
• RIBO/CIP/FCIP designation preferred
• Experience with Medical Malpractice insurance
• Robust communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in teams
