In this part-time, permanent role, you will report to the Family Reunification Program Site Manager. Your primary responsibility is to provide reliable transportation for participants of the Family Reunification Program. Key skills include excellent driving abilities, knowledge of traffic laws, and strong interpersonal relationships aimed at supporting Métis families in need.
Key Responsibilities:
• Transport families safely and efficiently to various destinations
• Complete daily vehicle pre-checks and cleanliness evaluations
• Plan optimal driving routes and adjust for conditions
• Schedule vehicle maintenance and inspections
• Assist families with loading and unloading their items
Requirements:
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License with transparent driving record
• Experience in public transport or human services
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Current First Aid and CPR certifications
• Acceptable Police Information Check and Intervention Record Check
