We are looking for staff who can carry/ lift at least 50lbs - as our task is to help unload and disperse production equipment on board the cruise ship. The equipment such as production equipment, chair carts and palleted items will be brought onto the ship and our team will be responsible for moving it to the right parts of the ship for set up.
Requirements:
- Great communication skills;
- Can lift/carry/push/pull items of at least 50lbs
- Able to be on your feet for the entire shift
- Positive "can-do" attitude
Desired Experience
- Working on movie sets, film productions, concerts, or similar event environments
- Accustomed to physically demanding work and heavy lifting.
- General labour experience
Rate: CAD$25.00/hour
Location: Port of Vancouver
Attire: All black - comfortable clothing that still looks professional - no rips/ tear, stains,
big logos or offensive messaging on any clothing. Runners or steeltoe boots work well - no PPE required. But gloves can be helpful.
