Duration: 3 months (August to November)

Schedule: 1st shist, M-F, 8am-5pm. Hours per Day: 8. Hours per Week: 32 to 40, dependent of business needs (Monday to Friday), Sometimes on Saturdays(Overtime)

Salary: c$17.64/hr.

Summary

Our client is seeking Seed Technicians (Inventory Team) to work for the breeding organization. The successful candidate will assist in many aspects of seed package and shipment.

Responsibilities:

- Packaging and sub-sampling treated Canola seed.
- Labeling, organization, sorting, sequencing, and scanning of seed samples and inventory.
- Adhering to company safety rules and standard operating procedures
- Performing highly repetitive tasks with consistency and accuracy.

Desired Skills / Experience:

- Highly motivated with the ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong attention to details and accuracy in all tasks.
- Demonstrated patience, and flexibility in a quick-paced team setting while consistently meeting deadlines.
- Ability to maintain focus and concentration for extended periods during repetitive tasks.
- Quick learner with the capability to work proactively and work on own initiative.




- Adaptable attitude with a willingness to learn and implement new procedures.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize daily tasks effectively.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Physically capable of lifting 25 lbs.
- Post-Secondary studies preferred.
- RESPIRATOR FIT TEST IS REQUIRED
