Seeking Full Time Dispatcher

Boyuk Towing is presently looking for a full time Dispatcher to join our fast growing team in the Sudbury area. We operate 24/7, 365 days a year.

Qualifications:

Applicants must be…

· Able to work under pressure with minimal supervision

· Able to effectively multitask

· Able to work schedule rotations that include nights and weekends

· Able to handle stressful situation while working alone

· Able to effectively communicate with customers and drivers

· Able to quote and price invoices

· Able to learn and effectively use the company’s dispatching software and tracking systems

The following qualifications are assets however not mandatory;

· Having previous dispatching experience

· Having previous towing or trucking experience

· Having a general knowledge of local and provincial transportation regulations

· Having knowledge of federal hours of service laws

· Having knowledge or experience with a variety of mobile equipment

· Having knowledge of cargo securement regulations

· Having previous experience supervising multiple employees

Functions:





To handle intake of customer call details and dispatch the most efficient driver and/or truck to complete the requested service. To price and quote service calls as well as plan driver routes and coordinate loading and offloading of trucks. Experience in the transportation industry is an asset but not required. Boyuk Towing will provide a comprehensive training program.
