LAZ Parking is currently hiring a Curb Management Officer to support curbside operations at Victoria International Airport. We're looking for a customer-focused, dependable professional who enjoys working outdoors, assisting travelers, and helping maintain a safe and productive traffic flow around the airport terminal.

As a Curb Management Officer, you'll play an important role in creating a positive first and last impression for passengers by providing outstanding customer service, monitoring curbside areas, directing vehicle traffic, and ensuring compliance with airport regulations. Job Title: Curb Management Officer

Hours: Part-Time 30-35 hours a week // 07:00-15:30

Location: Victoria Airport

Compensation: $20.00/ hour

Requirements:

- Ability to read, write, and speak English.

- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays.

- Willingness to work outdoors in inclement weather (rain, sleet, snow, heat, high wind, etc.)

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver exceptional customer service at all times. Assist travelers, respond to questions, resolve disputes tactfully, and provide directions as needed.

- Actively manage the flow of vehicles in shared use curb areas along the terminal frontage and commercial lanes, ensuring compliance with YYJ Airport protocols and local traffic regulations.

- Enforce curbside parking time limits, issue citations or honor notices as appropriate,



and support safe drop-off and pick-up procedures.

- Assist and monitor commercial vehicles including taxis, limos, buses, and shuttles; perform spot audits and report unauthorized or non-compliant operations.

- Identify and report safety hazards, suspicious behavior, or operational concerns in curbside and loading zones.

- Maintain clear pedestrian walkways and help facilitate safe and orderly access to the terminal, especially during high-traffic periods.

- Maintain respectful, professional relationships with the public, vendors, coworkers, commercial drivers, and airport staff.

- Provide operational support to other teams (parking, enforcement, auditing, etc.) as needed.

Requirements:

- Ability to communicate professionally with guests, clients, and teammates.

- Demonstrate a commitment to providing positive customer service experiences.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Valid Driver’s License with passenger endorsement if applicable.

- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

- This role is fully outdoors and requires working in all weather conditions, including rain, snow, high winds, extreme cold, and heat.





- Must be physically capable of standing, walking, and patrolling for extended periods of time; up to the full duration of a shift.

- Exposure to vehicle traffic, noise, and environmental elements is to be expected.
