Duties:
- Perform in-patient and out-patient neurodiagnostic tests including EEG.
- Achieve high level quality recordings and troubleshoot as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of tests performed.
- Assist with statistical data and quality assurance.
- Ensure equipment is functioning properly and maintain adequate supplies.
- Collaborate with other team members to optimize use of available resources.
- Work in a manner that is in compliance with staff and patient/client safety practices, policies and procedures of The Royal.
- Ensure a work environment that is conducive to The Royal’s Harassment-Free Workplace policy.
Qualifications:
- Current certification with the Canadian Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic Technologists (CBRET) required OR are eligible for certification.
- Diploma from a recognized Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist Program.
- Minimum of three (3) years recent practical experience in EEG is preferred.
- Current CPR certification.
- Ability to work independently as well as a member of a dynamic team.
- Demonstrated effective decision making skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills combined with excellent patient care skills and service excellence attitude is essential.
- Strong organizational skills combined with effective problem solving abilities.
- English level A- is mandatory in oral expression, oral comprehension, reading comprehension and written expression. Bilingual (French/English) is considered an asset.
Salary Range:
35.35 - 45.03 to 38.64 - 49.68 per hour
