We are fleet service shop seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician specializing in 310s to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, maintenance, diagnostics, and most importantantly, a positive attitude. This role offers an excellent prospect for mechanics with experience to apply their expertise, perform quality repairs, and deliver exceptional customer service. The position involves diagnosing issues, repairing vehicles, and ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Monday - Friday 40hour work week, no weekends
- Perform comprehensive automotive repairs and maintenance on light duty fleet vehicles
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to execute repairs effectively.
- Interpret schematics and technical manuals to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues accurately.
- Conduct vehicle inspections, identify problems, and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Complete repairs involving engine systems, brakes, suspension, transmission, and other critical components.
- Maintain a clean and well organized work environment
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair needs and timelines clearly to clients.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as licensed Automotive Service Technician 310s or Level 3 apprentice
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics reading.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during repairs or parts handling.
- Experience with fleet maintenance is a plus
- Knowledge of vehicle systems including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic components.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Good communication skills for interacting with team members and customers.

Pay: $36.00-$40.00 per hour
