This role will require continuous communication with all project team members, and will be responsible for identifying, planning and implementing various scopes of work, depending on business requirements.This posting is for future Project Coordinator opportunities in the Pickering area.What You'll Do HereResponsible for the development, maintenance and closure of Comprehensive Work Package(s) in cooperation with quality, construction and engineering. Coordinating, facilitating and driving project planning and executionReport on project performance, detect challenges to safety, quality, as it effects cost, and scheduleSupport project performance and forecast future cost and schedule performance including year-end forecasts and project estimates at completionPrepare and maintain project plans including risk, scope, contract, safety, and schedule milestonesPrepare risk management plans with input from other project team membersMonitor project risks against risk management plan, maintain risk register, and update as requiredAssist and develop integrated, logically tied, resource loaded project schedules which incorporate identified scope, risks, estimates/budgets and constraints that support effective project management and field executionMonitor field installation verses CWP, WPL and project schedules / work planningRecommend strategies to mitigate contract cost and schedule impacts of field execution delays such as redeployment, scheduling, and shift changesCoordinating and reporting of Non Conformance’sPlan and integrate projects and tasks with station Work control organization and processesIdentify and coordinate stakeholders and stakeholder engagement, including station resourcesDrive an inclusive culture to promote equity, welcome different perspectives,



and enable career progression by fostering a sense of belongingAssist with cost monitoring and change management (PCN)Assist with project manpower requirements and coordinates manpower with appropriate trades and subcontractorsAct as SPOC between field trades and design engineers for problem resolution and information flowEstablish and maintain interfaces with other internal groups, subcontractors and suppliers supporting the projectDevelop, write and maintain detailed work plans in cooperation with construction leadsChairs project status meetings, maintains meeting minutes and action logReviews project design and lead constructability reviews against project scope and related documentsInterfaces with customers to provide project status reports and ensures customer needs are metWrites and reviews purchase specifications and subcontract documentsMaintain high standards related to final product qualityDevelop and maintain project trackers and logs. Eg. FIC log, RFI, CWP trackerCoordinated project construction completion activitiesWhat You Bring To The TeamPost-secondary school education in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management disciplines; or acceptable combination of education and previous experienceA minimum of 1-3 years working as a Project Coordinator or equivalent role, ideally in project engineering or EPC environment (co-op placement experience will be considered)Proficient in software related to construction industry as required (e.G. Primavera Scheduling software, AutoCAD, SAP etc.)Excellent Computer skills including proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)Excellent analytical and organizational skillsExcellent interpersonal skillsExcellent written and oral communication skillsReason for vacancy: NewThe expected pay range for this opportunity is $75,000 - $90,000Individual pay isdeterminedbased on several factors, including work location, education, experience, uniqueskillsand job conditions.
