We’re hiring an experienced Journeyman Carpenter to join our team. Competitive wages and steady, long-term work for the right candidate.
Location: Prince George and surrounding areas
Responsibilities
- Build, layout, and execute projects according to specifications, including performing grade calculations as required
- Operate a wide range of power tools, machinery, and hand tools proficiently
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Plan work timelines and ensure deadlines are met
- Maintain tools and equipment in protected working condition
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Complete additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of carpentry experience
- Experience in both civil construction and residential projects
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
- Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Capable of operating tools and equipment safely and responsibly
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Adaptable and receptive to changing work environments
- Willingness to work extended hours and Saturdays as required
- Able to work in camp environments; shift schedules may vary depending on client requirements
