As a Cabinet Service Technician, you play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience to our clients. Working closely with our cabinet installation teams, you will support a wide range of projects—from small renovations to high-end custom homes—ensuring quality standards are met and customer expectations are exceeded.
In this role, you will be responsible for addressing customer concerns, performing on-site repairs and adjustments, and providing hands-on support to ensure a seamless final result. Your work will directly impact customer satisfaction and the overall quality of our finished product.
This position requires strong technical knowledge of cabinet installation and industry standards, along with a professional and customer-focused approach. You will regularly interact with clients on-site and represent Potvin with confidence and care.
A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are required. This role is based out of our Rockland office, with regular travel to job sites.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Perform cabinet installation-related tasks, including in office repairs and adjustments
- Meet with customers to assess and resolve deficiencies
- Address client concerns promptly and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
- Maintain clear and effective communication with customers and internal teams
- Ensure work is completed in line with project schedules and deadlines
What You Bring
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong skills in woodworking and wood finishing techniques
- Proven experience in cabinet installation
- Knowledge of cabinet fabrication standards and industry practices
- Basic electrical and mechanical knowledge
- Familiarity with Tarion requirements and procedures
- Proficiency with basic computer applications (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset
