We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper. In this vital role, you will manage the day-to-day financial record-keeping processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance across various accounting functions. Your expertise will support our organization’s financial health by maintaining precise records, reconciling accounts, and assisting with financial reporting.

- Reducing executive involvement in day-to-day asset financials
- Acting as a liaison between the senior finance team and the real-estate operations team
- Improving asset-level visibility and confidence, by maintaining critical metrics on the existing and new real-estate portfolio.
- Creating a scalable foundation for future portfolio expansion

Duties
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date bookkeeping records using accounting software such as QuickBooks
- Perform general ledger accounting and balance sheet reconciliation
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently, including invoice processing and payment tracking
- Prepare journal entries, conduct account analysis, and perform bank reconciliations to ensure precise financial data
- Support payroll processing and assist with tax-related tasks
- Assist in budgeting activities and generate financial reports to aid management decision-making
- Conduct account reconciliation and review debits & credits for accuracy within the double-entry bookkeeping system
Requirements
- Proven experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar platforms
- Strong understanding of corporate accounting principles
- Experience in bank reconciliation, general ledger reconciliation, and account analysis is essential
- Familiarity with payroll processing, tax experience, and accounts payable/receivable functions
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Robust communication skills to prepare clear financial report writing and collaborate effectively with team members
- Strong Excel skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
