We are seeking a dedicated and professional Mortgage Agent to join our dynamic financial services team. As a Mortgage Agent, you will play a vital role in helping clients achieve their homeownership goals while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

- Assist clients in understanding mortgage options and guiding them through the application process
- Evaluate client financial information to determine suitable mortgage products
- Negotiate terms and conditions with lenders on behalf of clients to secure favorable agreements
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, lending policies, and regulatory requirements
- Prepare and review all necessary documentation for mortgage approval
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly and professionally
- Manage cash flow and ensure accurate record-keeping of transactions and client data
- Collaborate with real estate agents, lenders, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth transactions




- Use Microsoft Excel and other tools to track applications, deadlines, and client information efficiently

Requirements

- Strong communication and negotiation skills to effectively liaise with clients and lenders
- Experience in customer service within financial services or related fields is preferred
- Knowledge of mortgage products, financial analysis, and cash management principles
- Ability to work with Microsoft Excel for data organization and reporting purposes
- Excellent math skills for assessing financial documents and calculations
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are considered an asset for serving diverse clientele
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
- Licensed as a mortgage Broker in Alberta (RECA)
