We are seeking a compassionate and responsible Home Childcare Provider/Nanny to care for children in a safe and nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to supporting children's developmental needs, providing engaging activities, and ensuring their well-being. Duties
- Provide attentive and loving care to children, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to children's dietary requirements
- Assist with daily routines such as bathing, dressing, and nap times
- Engage children in age-appropriate educational activities, play, and teaching to promote growth and development
- Perform light housekeeping tasks related to child care, including cleaning toys, laundry, and maintaining a tidy environment
- Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing personalized care
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding children's progress, behaviors, and any concerns
- Foster positive social skills, independence, and emotional well-being in children
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children, including infants or toddlers, is preferred
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus
- Strong caregiving skills with patience, empathy, and reliability
- Ability to prepare healthy meals and handle basic meal preparation tasks
- Knowledge of safe cleaning practices related to child care environments
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with parents and children
- Ability to organize activities that promote learning and fun in a secure setting
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is desirable but not required; willingness to obtain certification is a plus
