Rivercity Motors is looking for a strong automotive technician who wants a better long-term shop to call home.

We are an independent Volkswagen, Audi, Miata specialty shop who also works on other makes and models in Edmonton. We are busy, organized, and growing. We are looking for a technician who takes pride in clean work, proper diagnostics, and doing the job right.

What you will be doing

- Diagnose, service, and repair Volkswagen, Audi, and other European vehicles
- Perform maintenance, inspections, brakes, suspension, drivability, electrical, engine, and drivetrain repairs
- Use proper diagnostic process, not guessing
- Communicate clearly with advisors and the shop team
- Document findings properly
- Help maintain a clean, professional, productive shop
- Take pride in quality repairs and customer trust





What we are looking for

- Journeyman Automotive Service Technician preferred
- Robust apprentice candidates may be considered
- Volkswagen, Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Porsche, or other European experience is a major asset
- Robust diagnostic ability
- Good attitude and team-first mindset
- Own tools
- Valid driver’s licence
- Someone who wants a long-term home, not just another job

- Need constant pushing to stay productive

Compensation

Pay is based on experience and ability.

Expected range: $45–$55/hour for the right experienced technician.
