Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Pawn Broker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating, purchasing, and selling a variety of items, including jewelry, electronics, and collectibles. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and have a keen eye for detail to assess the value of items accurately. Your ability to engage with customers and provide exceptional service will be crucial in building lasting relationships and driving sales.

Responsibilities

- Evaluate and appraise items brought in by customers for pawn or sale.
- Conduct transactions efficiently while ensuring accurate cash handling.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns.
- Perform product demonstrations to showcase items for sale.
- Engage in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities.
- Maintain an organized inventory system for tracking items in the store.
- Utilize phone etiquette when communicating with customers over the phone.
- Assist in training new staff on sales techniques and product knowledge.




- Ensure compliance with all legal requirements related to pawn transactions.

Experience

- Previous experience in sales or retail is preferred; experience in technical sales is a plus.
- Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers; multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Demonstrated organizational skills to manage inventory and transactions efficiently.
- Experience with product demos and showcasing merchandise effectively.

Candidates should have a passion for customer service and a willingness to learn about various products to enhance their selling capabilities.
