Responsibilities

- Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials, tools, and equipment around the worksite
- Prepare work areas by cleaning, organizing, and setting up necessary supplies and safety barriers
- Support skilled tradespeople by handing them tools and materials efficiently and safely
- Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment for all team members
- Perform general site cleanup duties to ensure a tidy and hazard-free workspace
- Help with demolition or excavation tasks under supervision as needed




- Conduct routine inspections of tools and equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance

Skills

- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Strong attention to safety procedures and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
- Good communication skills to follow instructions clearly and work effectively within a team
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt quickly to changing project needs
- Basic understanding of construction sites or previous labouring experience is a plus but not required
- Reliable, punctual, and ready to contribute positively to team efforts
