Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable and experienced Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating various types of commercial trucks, including Hook lift/roll-off trucks, Box truck, flat bed and Garbage packer truck . This role involves delivering freight efficiently across designated routes while adhering to safety and regulatory standards. Candidates with a background in freight delivery, route driving, and experience with different truck types are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities

- Safely operate commercial trucks including Flat bed, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks.
- Load and unload freight efficiently while ensuring cargo safety and security.
- Navigate assigned routes accurately and on schedule, maintaining adherence to traffic laws and company policies.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.




- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs as required by regulatory agencies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules, route changes, or vehicle issues.
- Perform routine maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly.
- Follow all safety protocols related to driving, cargo handling, and vehicle operation.

Requirements

- Valid commercial driver’s license (class 5 with air brake)with appropriate endorsements for the truck type
- Proven experience in truck driving, including route driving and freight delivery.
- Ability to load & unload freight safely using forklift or manual methods as needed.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance standards for commercial drivers.
- Strong driving skills with a clean driving record.
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles comfortably.
- Physical ability to load/unload freight and perform routine vehicle inspections.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
