Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Procurement Specialist in the mining sector in in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
Are you a procurement professional looking to gain experience on a large-scale mining development project? We are seeking a Procurement Specialist to support sourcing, contracting, supplier relationship management, and operational readiness initiatives. Working closely with category leaders and business stakeholders, you will help drive commercial value, supply assurance, and contract optimization across MRO, OEM equipment, parts, and technical services categories.

- Earn $80 to $90/hour incorporated or $65 to $70/hour T4

A typical day:

- Support strategic sourcing initiatives across MRO, OEM equipment, parts, and technical services
- Conduct commercial evaluations, negotiations, and contract administration activities




- Collaborate with category leaders and key stakeholders to identify value opportunities
- Manage supplier relationships to improve performance and supply assurance
- Analyze total cost of ownership and support contract optimization initiatives
- Contribute to operational readiness planning and procurement execution activities

Requirements:

- Demonstrate experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain, or category management
- Possess experience within mining owner-operator environments preferred
- Bring transferable experience from EPC, heavy industrial, energy, infrastructure, or related sectors
- Apply strong commercial negotiation and contract management skills
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders and suppliers
- Be willing to work fully onsite in Saskatoon with occasional travel to project sites
