About CREM Canada

CREM Canada is seeking an experienced Senior Excavator Operator to lead commercial, industrial, and institutional demolition projects across Ontario. This is a hands-on leadership role for an operator with strong demolition experience, leadership skills, and the ability to coordinate field operations safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

· Operate 20–30 tonne excavators with demolition attachments.

· Perform structural demolition using hydraulic breakers, grapples, thumbs, and buckets.

· Operate loaders, skid steers, dozers, and other heavy equipment as required.

· Lead demolition crews and coordinate daily site operations.

· Plan demolition sequencing, equipment, trucking, and manpower.

· Review construction and demolition drawings.

· Coordinate haulage, recycling, waste disposal, subcontractors, and suppliers.

· Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with Ontario Health & Safety regulations.

· Complete daily reports, equipment inspections, and production documentation.

· Work closely with project managers, engineers, consultants, municipalities, and clients.

· Travel to project sites throughout Ontario.

Qualifications

· Experience in commercial demolition.

· Experience operating 20–30 tonne excavators.

· Experience using hydraulic breakers, demolition grapples, hydraulic thumbs, and demolition buckets.

· Experience demolishing commercial, industrial,



or institutional buildings.

· Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and demolition plans.

· Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

· Knowledge of Ontario Occupational Health & Safety regulations.

· Valid OntarioClass G Driver's Licence.

· Willingness to travel throughout Ontario.

Assets

· Heavy Equipment Operator Certification

· Working at Heights Certification

· First Aid/CPR Certification

· AZ or DZ Driver's Licence

· Experience operating Caterpillar or similar heavy equipment

· Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar software
