Job Description

Under the supervision of the Sanitation Supervisor, the Sanitation Attendant is responsible for performing cleaning and sanitation activities on production equipment in accordance with established standards and procedures.

- Rinse, scrub, clean, and wash production machinery
- Push lettuce and blow air on production equipment
- Empty garbage bins
- Wash conveyors using water hoses
- Remove condensation and water from walls, ceilings, and floors
- Perform any other related duties as required

Main Responsibilities

- High school diploma is an asset

- 0 to 6 months of relevant experience, ideally in a manufacturing or food processing environment

- Ability to work standing in a cold and humid environment (3°C)

- Ability to lift loads of up to 50 lbs (for certain workstations)

- Strong observation skills and sense of urgency

- Ability to work under pressure

- Detail-oriented and versatile
