About the Role
We are seeking an an experienced Pouch Machine Operator with a background in flexible plastic packaging manufacturing. This role is responsible for operating pouch machines to produce high-quality packaging products safely, efficiently, and on schedule. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience operating pouch machines in a flexible packaging environment, strong mechanical aptitude, and a strong commitment to quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate pouch bag machines
- Perform machine changeovers and adjustments for production runs
- Monitor machine performance to ensure quality, speed, and efficiency targets are met
- Conduct in-process inspections to ensure seal integrity, dimensions, and print quality meet specifications
- Troubleshoot minor machine issues and escalate technical issues when needed
- Maintain accurate production, downtime, and quality records
- Follow all safety procedures and GMP standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
- 2+ years’ experience operating pouch machines in flexible packaging manufacturing
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
- Ability to read work orders, specifications, and measurements
- Ability to work independently and meet production targets
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork
- Ability to read and write English
Work Environment
- Manufacturing setting with standing, lifting, bending and repetitive tasks
- PPE required as applicable (Hair Nets, Beard Nets and Ear Plugs are provided and required, Safety Shoes: subsidized after passing probation)
Shift
- Monday to Friday 600AM - 2:30PM
- Must be willing to work any shift
