Certified B-Pressure Welder (CWB F3/F4 & F6/F5) – Redwater, AB.

FMP Group is currently hiring Certified B-Pressure Welders for an exciting long-term industrial project in the Redwater, Alberta area, with opportunities for future upcoming work.

We are seeking experienced site welders with strong industrial construction backgrounds and valid CWB by-hand welding qualifications (F3/F4 and F6/F5). Rig welders will not be considered.

This is a safety-sensitive position and requires successful completion of pre-employment and site access testing.

Responsibilities

- Perform high-quality pressure welding on piping and pressure vessels in accordance with ASME codes, welding procedures, and client specifications.
- Complete welding using SMAW (Stick) and GTAW (TIG) processes.
- Read and interpret isometric drawings, blueprints, and welding procedures.
- Produce welds that meet quality standards and pass required inspections.
- Work collaboratively with pipefitters, inspectors, supervisors, and other trades to achieve project objectives.




- Maintain strict compliance with all site safety requirements, procedures, and industry best practices.

Qualifications

- Valid Alberta B-Pressure Welder Certificate
- Valid CWB by-hand welding qualifications:
- F3 & F4
- F6 & F5
- Proven industrial site experience working on construction and maintenance projects in oil & gas, petrochemical, refinery, or heavy industrial environments.
- Demonstrated experience welding pressure piping and pressure vessel systems.
- Strong knowledge of applicable welding codes, standards, and quality requirements.
- Commitment to safe work practices and maintaining a safety-first culture.

- CSTS 2020
- WHMIS 2015
- Standard First Aid Level C with AED
- H2S Alive
- Successful completion of pre-access Drug & Alcohol Testing
