Looking for an enthusiastic, ambitious legal assistant to join our busy Personal Injury firm. ICS Legal Services is a prominent Brampton plaintiff personal Injury firm with over 28 years of legal experience.

We are looking for an energetic Legal Assistant/Accident Benefits Clerk to support our Accident Benefits team. The ideal incumbent must work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment, and must take pride in exceeding expectations. This position is full-time and in person.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Drafting correspondence to be sent to Insurance Companies, medical facilities and clients
- Drafting LAT Applications, drafting Case Conference Summaries
- Direct communication with clients, insurance adjusters and clinics
- Overall daily file maintenance
- Complete OCF forms in accordance with the Statutory Accident Benefits Schedule (SABS)
- Other duties assigned

Skills and Experience

- Minimum 1+ years of accident benefits knowledge




- Completion of Legal Assistant program
- Attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Solid verbal and writing skills
- Highly organized
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Show discretion with sensitive and confidential information

Education and Qualifications

- Post-secondary education.
- Completion of a Legal Assistant, Law Clerk or Paralegal Program is an asset
- Computer literate, with strong skills in the use of MS Office, e-mail and internet.
