Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Chef/cook to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food preparation and committed to delivering exceptional dining experiences. This role involves preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment, ensuring high standards of food safety and quality. The Line Cook will work closely with kitchen staff to maintain efficiency and uphold our restaurant’s reputation for excellence.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients
- Ensure all food is handled safely and stored properly in compliance with food safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal quality
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to prevent contamination and accidents




- Support the overall operation of the kitchen by assisting with meal assembly and plating as needed

Skills

- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service in a restaurant or food industry setting
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards
- Ability to efficiently perform meal preparation tasks under pressure
- Strong understanding of serving techniques and presentation skills
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively within a team
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and safety protocols
- Passion for culinary arts and a commitment to quality service

*Must have food handlers certificate*

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
