Position
Summary

- To

coordinate, supervise and schedule the activities of the production
employee

- Establish methods to meet work

schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other

units

Experience

- Minimum of

three (3) year’s experience in a similar position in the food
industry

- Excellent communication

skills

- Demonstrated problem

solving

- Leadership
- Knowledge

of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)

Responsbilities

- Ensure

production requirements are achieved while meeting quality, yield, efficiency and food / employee safety
standards

- Effectively motivate and direct

employees by facilitating/ mentoring continuous
improvement

- Review production schedule for

manpower and staffing requirements





- Resolve work

problems and recommend measures to improve productivity and product
quality

- Prepare production reports in an

accurate and timely manner

- Perform / organize

employee job training and team meetings to ensure efficient and
safe task performance

- Understand and follow all

aspects of the Collective Agreement, and deal with grievances at
the primary stage

- Request and control materials

and

supplies
