About the Role

AAI Solutions is seeking experienced D AVOP holders to support security escort operations at Toronto Pearson International Airport.

In this contractor role, you will provide security escort services for contractors and visitors who do not hold the required airport access clearance. The primary responsibility is to maintain absolute “Care and Control” while escorting individuals through restricted Airside and Terminal areas in full compliance with GTAA and Airport Authority regulations, escort ratios, and all applicable directives.

This is a critical operational role requiring strong professional judgment, clear radio communications, and strict adherence to security protocols. Flexible contract arrangements are available, including full-time, part-time, and casual opportunities to suit your schedule and availability.

Key Responsibilities

o Escort contractors and visitors in and out of restricted Airside and Terminal areas while maintaining absolute “Care and Control” and line of sight at all times.

o Ensure full compliance with Airport Authority rules, regulations, NOTAMs,



and established escorting ratios.

o Conduct clear and concise radio communications in accordance with Restricted Operators Certificate – Aviation (ROC-A) guidelines.

o Properly issue, validate, and manage Visitor Pass Certificates, ensuring all documentation is accurate and properly displayed.

o Verify that all contractors and visitors possess valid government-issued identification at all times.

o Establish and monitor secure work areas while maintaining required standards of security and awareness.

o Demonstrate integrity, dependability, and a professional, courteous manner at all times.

Requirements

o Valid Purple Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC) – current and valid

o Valid D AVOP (Airside Vehicle Operator Permit) – current and valid

o Valid Ontario Driver’s License with a minimum of 5 years driving experience

o Valid Restricted Radiotelephone Operator’s Certificate (Aeronautical) / ROC-A

o Valid Ontario Security Guard License

o Strong command of English with the ability to read, write, and communicate clearly and professionally

o Demonstrated integrity, reliability, and professional conduct

o Ability to work independently or in a team with minimal direct supervision

o Availability to support airport operations on a full-time, part-time, or casual basis as needed

Pay: From $27.00 per hour
