We're looking for an energetic, friendly, and result-oriented French tutor to help students prepare for the NCLC and TEF exams. The tutor will manage online group classes and in person group sessions. The ideal candidate is passionate about teaching, keeps sessions engaging, and is genuinely invested in helping students hit their target scores.
Tutor will also take part in Sales activities to engage with prospect students and enroll them into the classes.
Responsibilities
- Deliver in person/online group French coaching for NCLC and TEF preparation
- Prepare structured class notes, practice material, and assignments for each session
- Actively Participate in Sales activates and promotions.
- Track student progress and adjust teaching plans to close skill gaps
- Conduct a mix of remote (online) sessions and in-person classes in Mississauga
- Provide mock tests and exam strategies (listening, speaking, reading, writing)
- Assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
- Foster a positive, encouraging classroom atmosphere that motivates students to participate actively
- Maintain accurate records of lesson plans, attendance, and student performance
- Communicate effectively with students and parents about progress and areas for improvement
Qualifications
- Must have personally taken the TEF exam (mandatory)
- Proven experience training students specifically for NCLC/TEF
- Strong command of French (spoken and written) at a high proficiency level
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Organized, punctual, and comfortable preparing structured lesson content
- Able to commit to both remote teaching and in-person classes in Mississauga
- Must be bi-lingual in English

Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
