Kenway Dental care has been proudly serving the Scarborough Area for the past 20years. We are located at a busy corner of Kennedy and Eglington. Our office offer a wide range of dental services including hygiene, cosmetic, and implants to name a few.

We are looking for a part-time, casual Dental Admin/Receptionist who can start right away. Candidates must be available to work Saturdays.

As a Dental Receptionist, you are the first point of contact with our patients. You are primarily responsible for ensuring all patients receive a friendly and knowledgeable experience while visiting our practice. You are responsible for providing a warm and friendly greeting as they arrive, attending to the phone lines, responding to inquiries, processing payments, scheduling appointments and ensuring each patient has an excellent experience. You are also be responsible for a variety of other assigned administrative duties to ensure the smooth and efficient operations of the practice.



You must already have or be willing to learn the same depth of dental knowledge as our clinical staff, in order to confidently discuss treatment plans, insurance coverage, dental procedures both in person and over the phone. This individual will coordinate with the practitioner, the patient and their insurance provider to determine costing estimates based upon the proposed treatment plan, applicable lab fees and benefits coverage where relevant, facilitated through the submission of predeterminations and calculations based upon the explanation of perks.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week

Experience:

- Dental receptionist: 2 years (required)
- Dental software: 2 years (required)
