Tower Specialists are responsible for installing, inspecting and repairing tower internals, as well as complying with company, customer and legislated requirements.
Applicants must be able to read and interpret construction drawings, and have a minimum of 1 year experience installing mass-transfer trays, demisters, collectors, distributors, random/structured packing, and other tower internals.
Requirements:
- Physically fit – able to climb ladders and perform repetitive bending, twisting and lifting of up to 50 lbs
- Safety conscious
- Attention to detail
- Willingness to learn
- Mechanically inclined, positive with hand tools
- Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces
- Able to work out of town
Training tickets required:
- Confined Space Entry
- Fall Protection
- Standard First Aid + CPR
- CSTS or PSTS
- H2S Alive
