We are currently recruiting for a few Personal Support Workers to assist a private male employer, with Quadriplegia, with all activities of daily living.

The employer is looking for someone who can support with duties such as bowel care, showering, and dressing.

Location:

- Port Moody (Near Community Ventures Society)

Shifts & Hours of Work:

- Tuesday and Wednesday: 9:30am to 2:30pm

Compensation:

- $23.00 per hour, increased to $23.50 per hour after probation

Responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to):

- Daily personal care such as showering, dressing, bowel care,
- Condom Catheter care
- Range of Motion exercises
- Assistance with transfers with the use of a ceiling lift
- Light housekeeping, such as assisting with laundry and help with errands
- Meal preparation

Required Qualifications:

- No use of heavy perfumes or creams
- Non-smoker/Non-vaper
- Caregiving experience an asset
- Fully vaccinated
- Driver’s License (Class 5) an asset
- Physically fit to assist, especially when it comes to supporting the client while bathing
