Our client, a major oil and gas producer, is looking for a new Purchaser to join their team. This is a 1-year maternity coverage position but may become a permanent role for the right candidate.

Position Details:

- Office-based position located in Chetwynd, BC
- Monday to Friday
- 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (1-hour unpaid lunch)
- Approximately one-year term with potential for permanent employment

Primary Responsibilities:

- Purchasing materials and services using the Limble CMMS
- Coordinating parts procurement and deliveries
- Communicating with vendors to obtain pricing, availability, and delivery schedules
- Coordinating logistics for shipments to our operating facilities
- Working closely with Maintenance and Operations to ensure materials are available when required
- Safety administration items and system management as required
- Occasional travel to our plant sites may be required. Company transportation will be provided.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Previous purchasing experience
- Parts or industrial supply background preferred
- Experience working in maintenance, oil & gas, or an industrial environment would be considered an asset
- Solid organizational, communication, and computer skills
- Experience with Limble or another CMMS would be an asset but is not required
