Job Overview

We are seeking a polished, detail-oriented, and driven Assistant to Store Manager to support the Store Manager in daily operations. You will act as a leader on the floor, ensuring the highest levels of customer service, driving sales, and safeguarding high-value inventory. The ideal candidate has a passion for luxury goods, a proven track record in sales leadership, and the integrity required to handle valuable merchandise.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Customer Experience

· Lead by example on the sales floor, assisting clients in selecting fine jewelry, diamonds, and watches.
· Build and maintain a loyal clientele through excellent follow-up and relationship management.
· Assist in resolving customer inquiries or concerns with grace and professionalism (escalating to the Store Manager when necessary).
· Motivate the sales team to meet and exceed individual and store KPIs.

2. Operations & Inventory Management

· Assist in managing inventory cycle counts and annual physical inventories.
· Ensure all merchandise is properly tagged, displayed, and accounted for.
· Oversee the receiving and ticketing of new shipments.
· Process sales transactions, layaways, repairs, and special orders accurately.

4. Merchandising & Visual Standards





· Ensure display cases are clean, organized, and visually appealing according to brand standards.
· Assist in rotating window displays and promotional setups.
· Ensure all necessary supplies (cleaning cloths, boxes, bags) are stocked.

5. Security & Compliance

· Strictly adhere to all security protocols to prevent loss.
· Verify that all buy/sell or trade-in transactions follow legal and company guidelines.
· Maintain a clean, organized, and secure work setting.

Qualifications

· Experience: 2+ years of jewelry retail management or supervisory experience required; Jewelry or luxury goods experience is required.
· Sales Acumen: Proven ability to sell high-ticket items and close deals.
· Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Technical Skills: Proficiency with POS systems and Microsoft Office (Excel/Outlook). Social media skills are required.
· Schedule: Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evening events.
