The Opportunity

We are looking for experienced Carpenters to join our growing team. This position is ideal for individuals with experience in heavy civil construction, bridge construction, concrete structures, and infrastructure projects.

This is a field-based position supporting road building, bridge construction, retaining walls, culverts, concrete foundations, and other civil infrastructure projects throughout British Columbia and Western Canada. Successful applicants should be comfortable working in remote locations, on active construction sites, and in a fast-paced team setting.

Key Responsibilities

Formwork & Concrete Construction

- Construct, install, and remove concrete formwork for a variety of civil construction projects.
- Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and layout information.




- Install embedded items, anchor bolts, reinforcing supports, and other concrete accessories.
- Assist with concrete placement, finishing, and curing operations.

General Carpentry

- Build temporary works including access structures, falsework, and shoring.
- Perform framing, bracing, and miscellaneous carpentry as required.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assist with bridge, culvert, retaining wall, and foundation construction.

Production

- Work closely with Superintendents, Foremen, Operators, and Labourers to complete work safely and efficiently.
- Maintain quality workmanship while meeting production schedules.
- Assist with site preparation, layout, and project execution.

Safety

- Follow all company safety policies and site-specific procedures.
- Participate in daily toolbox meetings and hazard assessments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area.

Qualifications & Skills

Experience

- Journeyman Carpenter certification preferred but not required.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial, industrial, or heavy civil construction.




- Experience with concrete formwork and structural concrete is considered a strong asset.
- Bridge construction experience is an asset.
- Ability to read construction drawings and work from layout information.

Requirements

- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence.
- Ability to work in remote locations and varying weather conditions.
- Willingness to travel and work overtime when required.
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing where required.

Pay: $35.00-$48.00 per hour
