Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painting Contractor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various types of painting projects, including commercial, residential, and industrial settings. This role requires a strong ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members while delivering high-quality workmanship. The Painting Contractor will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring that all work meets industry standards.

Duties

- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections.
- Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Execute restoration projects to enhance the appearance of existing structures.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and provide expert advice on color selection and finishes.
- Use hand tools and caulking techniques to ensure a smooth finish on all projects.
- Rig and set up scaffolding or ladders as needed for high or difficult-to-reach areas.




- Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the duration of each project.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working workplace for yourself and others.

Skills

- Proficient in commercial painting techniques with an emphasis on quality finishes.
- Experience in residential painting projects with a keen eye for detail.
- Knowledge of industrial painting processes and materials.
- Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with clients and team members.
- Ability to build rapport with clients through excellent customer service.
- Familiarity with hand tools and equipment used in the painting profession.
- Capable of performing caulking tasks to ensure proper sealing of surfaces.
- Understanding of construction painting practices and safety regulations.
