Smoke on the Water Smoke Shop is a locally operated business first established in 2011 in Courtenay, B.C. Since then, we have expanded to Campbell River and, in 2016, Powell River.
We offer affordable smoking accessories, e-cigarette products, fragrances, authentic Cuban cigars, and a wide range of lifestyle items.

Our team is known for being exceptionally friendly, warm, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. We create a welcoming environment where customers feel comfortable asking questions and know they will receive professional and reliable service.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a cheerful, positive, and dependable team member who values excellent customer experiences and takes pride in maintaining a clean, organized store.
We especially welcome individuals who are self-motivated, proactive, and consistently demonstrate strong work ethic, honesty, and responsibility.

A successful candidate is someone who:

- Welcomes every customer with a friendly, warm, and professional attitude
- Provides accurate product knowledge and trustworthy guidance
- Offers personable, enjoyable service that makes customers feel at ease
- Handles POS transactions (cash, debit, credit) confidently
- Keeps the store tidy and takes ownership of cleaning & organizing




- Actively looks for tasks and stays productive without needing direction
- Shows strong work ethic, honesty, and reliability in all duties
- Works well with others and contributes to a positive, supportive team environment
- Learns quickly, stays motivated, and adapts well to changing store traffic
- While this is a Full-time role, flexibility to help cover pre-scheduled shifts (e.g. Emergencies, vacation, or planned time off) is appreciated
